King of the Hill

Nathan foriest

For the past four years Project Xposure has honored its top pitcher/pitching prospect at Xposure Camp with the King of the Hill (K.O.H). An award established to recognize an outstanding pitching prospect for they’re on field pitching performance and overall potential. The award is presented annually and voted on by college coaches and professional scouts in attendance. In its brief history the award it’s self is developing a very rich tradition as to date all award recipients have enjoyed great success and notoriety after being named K.O.H. past winners include Thomas Wright, Bryce Brentz, Matt Ramsey and this year’s winner Nathan Foriest. Nathan joins good company as the most recent recipient of the award and first underclassman to be named K.O.H Nathan is just entering his junior year of high school at Harpeth high school in Kingston Springs TN. And we believe he has a very bright future..any one who witnessed the unorthodox lefty’s performance at Xposure camp saw him baffle opposing batters slinging fastballs in the high 80’s right past batters with a ton of late arm side run from a ¾ arm slot. Nathan also mixed in a decent change up and a hard curveball this was more then enough make hitters miserable. Nathan dominated his competition striking out 5 of the 8 batters he faced allowing him to walk away 2008’s K.O.H. along with that Nathan earned him self a brand new A2K glove from Wilson. Congratulations! Since being named K.O.H Nathan has received a ton of attention, from invitations to area code game workouts to an invite to play for the Kansas City Royals Scout Team this fall. We fully expect Nathan to follow in the footsteps of our previous winners and end up a MLB draft pick.
